Midland Technology Centre Visit

A group of Year 13 students, who are studying product design, recently visited the Midland Technology Centre in Coventry. The Centre was established in 2010 as an independent research and technology organisation to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The students were given a tour of the state-of-the-art design centre as well as speaking to some apprentices who had recently begun  their training. Students were also able to test their skills on the virtual welding machine and try out the rollercoaster ride on the virtual reality headsets. Students enjoyed the visit, and several are planning to apply for a work experience placement currently being offered.
