Simon Topper - Headteacher

Simon Topper - HeadteacherMr Topper has been Headteacher at Sandwell Academy since April 2005. He joined the Academy after 12 years' experience of working at Thomas Telford School, one of the top performing comprehensive schools in England.

He comments "Students at Sandwell Academy work in state of the art facilities and have access to the most modern equipment across all departments. Everyone at the Academy works hard to help every student achieve their highest potential and receive high quality pastoral care.

I am delighted with the progress that students have made since the Academy opened. The examination outcomes, achievements and destinations of students are hugely impressive and this has been recognised by Ofsted who have judged the Academy to be Outstanding on its two most recent visits (November 2011 and January 2014).

I look forward to working in partnership with you to support your child to gain the most from their time at Sandwell Academy so they leave as responsible, caring individuals who are well prepared for their next step in life."
