    This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to serve on the Senior Management Team at an Outstanding Ofsted provider.

    The successful candidate will be an exceptional Science teacher who can lead by example in consistently delivering outstanding results at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.  The Sciences are the most popular area of study in the Sixth Form at Sandwell Academy; students appreciate the thought provoking, challenging, and practical lessons that are delivered by a fantastic team of teachers, and aspire to scientific careers in areas such as medicine and engineering.  Extracurricular activities include Science Club, CREST award, medical careers group, and intervention work.  Due to the burgeoning success of the Science department two additional laboratories are being built to ensure continued provision of first class resources and facilities.

    Working as part of the Operations team, you will patrol designated areas of the Academy during lunch breaks, monitor student's behaviour and ensure the safety of students at all times. Full details of the role, the person specification and an application form can be downloaded below.
