Careers Resources

At the Academy we apply to University via the APPLY System linked to the UCAS website. You need to get the “buzzword” from Mr Tamber.

There are over 300 institutions offering a variety of HE courses; the best solution to help you to decide is to look at the UCAS Website which contains a list of all universities and courses to meet your needs.

To assist with University Applications, opportunity will be given to 6.1 students to visit a Higher Education Fair and they also will have the opportunity to have a guidance interview with the visiting Careers Adviser.

To decide on the right course, ask yourself:

  • Which subjects interest me?
  • What are my talents?
  • What job would I like to do?
  • Which academic skills do I want to improve?

If you are still unsure about what to study, the UCAS web site offers advice on choosing the right course for you.

Don't forget to use E-Clips.

Connexions Sandwell offer support and guidance for young people in relation to careers.
