Daljeet Kangh -IT Manager
Daljeet Kangh joined the Academy in June 2006 as IT Manager and brings with him more than 15 years experience of delivering IT Services in both the Public and Private sectors. As IT Manager he is responsible for the day to day running of the IT department which includes managing a team of Technicians. In addition he is responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• To be a member of the Senior Management Team contributing positively towards developing the Academy’s philosophy and ideology.
• Development of Information Technology applications across the whole curriculum.
• Effective establishment of policy and practice in Information Technology.
• Day to day running of the network.
• New equipment.
• New network users.
• Monitor network activity.
• Network monitoring software.
• To add new software to the network as required.
• Academy IT Help Desk.
• Fault reaction and repair times.
• Maintain Internet Email for staff and students.
• Data Protection Act.
• Web Developers/Video Technicians.
