Simon Topper - Headteacher

Simon Topper started his work as Headteacher of Sandwell Academy in April 2005. He came with 12 years’ experience working at Thomas Telford School, the top performing comprehensive school in England. Mr Topper’s responsibilities included managing and leading the Sixth Form and curriculum responsibility for Physical Education.

He comments “ I will work tirelessly to ensure that the students who attend Sandwell Academy will receive the highest standards of education possible. We will be proud to be working in state of the art facilities and it is our intention that every student who attends the Academy will have their potential maximised”

Mr Topper is married with two young children.
