Careers in Keystage 4

Any Questions about Careers, University or generally about your future don’t hesitate to contact Miss S Caddick and Mrs M Smith.

In Year 9

You will complete a careers questionnaire to look at your career ideas for the future.

You will take part in Aim Higher activities – e.g. University visits to see what life is like.

In Year 10

You will start your preparation for work experience by creating a CV in Business/ICT in January.

You and your parents will attend a work experience evening in the spring term.

You and your parents will be invited to get involved in the Careers Discovery Programme in the spring term.

You will take part in Aim Higher activities – e.g. University visits to see what life is like.

In Year 11

During enrichment week in October you will be able to opt into a one week work experience.

You will be given the opportunity of a one to one interview with the visiting Careers Adviser from Connexions Sandwell.

To help with careers information research you can use the careers library at the Academy and get help from Miss Caddick or Mrs Smith.

There is funding available for Sixth Form Students on Further Education study through the 16 to 19 Bursary.
