In Year 9
|

You will complete a careers questionnaire to look at your career ideas for the future.
You will take part in Aim Higher activities – e.g. University visits to see what life is like.

| In Year 10 |
|
|
You will start you preparation for work experience by creating a CV in Business/ICT in January.
You and your parents will attend a work experience evening in April.
You and your parents will be invited to get involved in the Careers Discovery Programme in May.
You will take part in Aim Higher activities – e.g. University visits to see what life is like.

| In Year 11 |
|
During enrichment week in October you will be able to opt into a one week work experience.
You will be given the opportunity of a one to one interview with the visiting Personal Advisor from Connexions Sandwell.
To help with careers information research use the careers library at the Academy and get help from Miss Caddick.

There is funding available for Sixth Form Students on Further Education study called Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA).
